FarEast Championship Optimist Dinghy

Valerie Cloutier jumped at the opportunity to race in one of our new Championship Optimist Dinghies up in Kelowna a few weeks ago.

Here's a picture of her bringing the boat back after the races and her comments about the boat.

This rig was complete with FarEast Championship Hull, FarEast Championship Foils and Optiparts Spars plus the FarEast Mainsheet System.  This is the same equipment that is on the charter boats for this years IODA World Championships in NewZeland!  The Sail used  is a UK Halsey MEGA II Full Race Sail.

Thanks to Valerie and her team for testing the boat!  We look forward to seeing them again at the West Vancouver Yacht Clubs Pumpkin Bowl on October 15, 16, 2011!  All the best to everyone who's competing that weekend and be sure to come find us at our regatta tent for all your Opti needs.
